A Rainy Pine Island Wedding | Zach + Kaitlynn

I got SO EXCITED for a beautiful wedding on the lake at Pine Island when I showed up for Kaitlynn’s bridal portraits and saw how beautiful it was there.

But when her wedding day came, it ended up POURING down rain a few hours before the ceremony was supposed to start. Forecasts were calling for bad weather the whole week leading up to the big day. Gotta love summer thunderstorms, right?!

The weather didn’t matter though—it didn’t dampen Kaitlynn and Zach’s day even a little. We were able to do a first look out in front of the water before the rain came (just in time, actually!), and then guests still got to see the beautiful water views during their ceremony—sitting inside the venue, dry and in the air condition! Crystal did an amazing job getting everything set up inside so beautifully, and quickly switching the room from ceremony to reception after they said, “I do” and walked down the aisle.

The vendor team was such a good one! The day was so smooth thanks to everyone jumping in and playing such a big part.

Zach + Kaitlynn were both so joyous and relaxed every time I saw them. I could tell how much they enjoyed spending time with each other, and with all of their friends and family.

I can’t thank them enough for choosing me to be part of such a special day for them. I enjoyed it so, so much!!

Take a look at my favorite portraits from their day, and be sure to leave them a big congratulations! They’re officially MARRIED!! <3
