I always say that engagement sessions are my favorite thing to photograph—what’s better than photographing a couple newly in love and ready to take on the world together? Well, here’s the answer: a couple, 10 years after their wedding day.
Ups, downs, tears and heartache, laughter so hard your belly burns…they’ve experienced doing life together for a whole decade. How amazing is that?
And this isn’t just any couple. This is my older brother, and the girl he married who is more than just a sister-in-law. She is one of my best friends, and I selfishly believe that God didn’t give her to BJ for him—God gave Felicia to BJ for me. (: He knew I needed a role model like her in my life. She is the coolest girl—so full of love and fun and all the sweet things of life, and 10 years later, she is also one of the best mamas. Together, they’ve shown me what it means to be parents and how truly sweet it is to grow a family. I will forever be grateful for them and their constant love and support.
BJ, I am forever proud of who you are. Thank you for being such a great big brother (we’ll give you a pass on all those times you beat me up), and thank you for picking such a great wife to do life with. She is the best sister-in-law and friend a girl could ever, ever ask for. <3
HAPPY 10-YEARS!!!!! I LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUCH!
