A friend who knew I had just moved to Atlanta tagged me in a Facebook post one day where a planner (Courtney from Fete & Figs) was looking for help from local vendors. One of her clients was having to move their entire wedding from St. Simmons Island to Atlanta because of hurricane Irma. I couldn’t even imagine how stressed I would feel if I was that couple, so I messaged Courtney and told her I was available to photograph the wedding. I just happened to have that Saturday open (which is crazy, and shows how meant to be it was!).

With only two days of getting to know the couple, and figuring out all the details and timelines, I showed up at the Crowne Plaza and Sydnie + Tyler got married! The weather was absolutely beautiful (calm before the storm), and it was so full of joy, despite the total change of plans just two days before. Sydnie + Tyler were so sweet, and they didn’t seem stressed even once the whole day. They were humbled by everyone who had jumped in to help make their wedding happen, and just so excited to be getting married!

It was a wonderful evening, and I’m so glad I got to be part of it. Congratulations Sydnie and Tyler!!! <3
