I’ll be honest—it is rare for me to leave a wedding feeling like, “wow what a day! Everything was so smooth and perfect!” Wedding days are chaotic, and as a photographer there is SO MUCH TO DO. Until you’ve done it, you just won’t get it. Don’t get me wrong—I always leave weddings feeling honored and happy to be part of them, and smitten by the love I got to witness and capture. It’s just rare to leave one feeling like I captured everything the way I wanted to.

But this wedding. Man. It was so, so, so good. Brady and Haley were true gems. They are so loving, and kind, and care-free. They made the day so great, but I also want to give a HUGE shoutout to Melanie who owns the venue, Carolina Country Weddings. She helped coordinate everything and she played a huge part in how smooth everything ran. Not only was everything on time, and not rushed or chaotic, but she also made sure that THE COUPLE had a wonderful day AND that I, as a vendor, got what I needed too. That is so rare, friends! It is rare, in my experience, for a coordinator to do so much for both the couple and the other vendors. It’s hard to explain, but I just can’t thank her enough! 5 stars for this venue and the ladies who run it!

Proof that the day was just so beautiful? Tears were shed allllll day long. Everything was just so special for Haley + Brady, and that led to tears from them, and tears from me. We cried during their first look, their ceremony, after the ceremony, during their first dances, and at the end of the night when they had a last dance, just the two of them, while everyone else lined up for sparklers. It was just so, so good, and a reminder that weddings don’t have to be chaotic and crazy to be good.

Thank you, Haley for letting me play a small part in your day. I will never forget it. <3
