I’m no stranger to photographing weddings in Charleston, SC, but this was my first time doing a wedding at this venue: the Confederate Home! It was a beautiful, quiet little spot in the middle of Charleston that I didn’t even know existed. I’m always amazed at the beauty of Charleston, especially right in the middle of the city!

This day was one I have been looking forward to for a long time. Jeff and Lindsey are sooooo sweet and so laid back. I loved meeting them at their engagement session and just knew their wedding day would be absolutely incredible. I love the way they look at each other—it’s just very special the way they love each other. And man—getting to hear from so many of their loved ones at their reception really showed how adored they both are by everyone they know. It was so special to witness.
