Three years ago I was sitting at a table in Johnson Hall with Katherine, groaning over the woes of college and school work. We were both Integrated Marketing Communication majors at Winthrop University and part of the Association for Women in Communications. Katherine was a year ahead of me in school and was always so sweet and helpful. She warned me about the crazy professors, gave me tips on certain projects, and helped me navigate my way through some difficult courses. I never imagined then that I would be 1. running a full-fledged wedding photography business or 2. shooting Katherine’s wedding and engagement photos!
I absolutely fell in love with her and Richmond. Every time I walk away from a photoshoot, I always feel so inspired, and this time was no different. They were both so sweet, kind, and down-to-Earth. They were up for whatever I suggested, and even brought some great ideas of their own. They were so, so, so much fun, and really showed me what my “ideal couple” is like: sweet, fun, laid-back, and in love with and inspired by beautiful photography, just like me.
I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session. There is dancing, sweet nuzzling, and the beautiful architecture of the Winthrop campus! Be sure to leave them some love in the comments below and let them know how sweet and wonderful they are!
