YOU GUYS…..
I shot FILM!!! It was so fitting too, because I realized after the fact that Mikayla (the beautiful, talented lady in these pictures) was my first ever paying customer for pictures. How cool is that?! She was the first one to ever pay me for a photo shoot, and she was the first shoot I ever shot with film! She is crazy talented and crazy pretty. I loved how open she was to all of my ideas, even if they seemed crazy or…unsafe. (:
I thought it would be neat to compare the two sessions soooooo here goes—
My first shoot with Mikayla on the left, and the most recent on the right:
In both, she’s absolutely stunning. (:
(^^Why did I edit that picture so dark and orange? The right one here is a definite improvement.)
Now that the embarrassment is over, let’s move on to my favorites from this session!! We started off in the city doing some neat tricks, but eventually ended up at the State House where I got really obsessive over the sunlight. I could have taken pictures of her for HOURS if only the sun wouldn’t have gone down. Enjoy some of my favorites and let me know what you think in the comments below!! P.S. These are all digital images…film takes too long to come in. Haha! I’ll be sure to blog the film images if any of them turn out. (:

Karly these images are beautiful!! I always love seen side by side comparisons, and I can’t WAIT to see how the shots on film turned out 🙂
Ahw, yay!! I was thinking about you while I was editing them. Beforehand I showed Mikayla your Instagram and she was like, “I love her pictures! I’m getting so excited for our session!” You rock!!
Gorgeous!!!! I love the light just bursting through in the photos!
Me too!! And to think this spot is in the middle of a big city!
