It wasn't until I had my first baby that I really began to treasure photographs. Sure, my wedding photos are some of my very favorite photos ever, but the fleeting moments with my newborn baby-turned toddler have me clinging to photographs like never before. I want every milestone captured. Every tiny toe photographed. And I want to be in the photos too—not just taking them. As a mother, I'm sure you feel the same. You do so much for your baby. (If you're a new mom, well, you'll see—there is nothing like the sacrifice of a mother.) As the years fly by, there is nothing you'll want more than to have these photographs.

The purpose of this collective is to photograph your baby's first year. As long as you are honoring that goal, yes! For example, you can switch out an at-home newborn session for a hospital session instead. Or if you don't want maternity photos and you'd rather do an announcement mini session or gender reveal session instead, you can totally do that!
My regular session fees can be found here. I require newborn sessions to be full portrait sessions (to give us extra time in case baby needs extra comfort), but you could choose a mini session or full portrait session for your maternity session. I do $100 off for booking both a maternity and newborn session with me.
Yes! The cost is $250 to upgrade a mini session to a full session.
There isn't a set number. You'll get all the best images taken from our time together. Trust me, I want these images in your hands! I won't hold anything back from you. A good idea is 30+ images for a mini session and 80+ for a full session.
The delivery timeframe depends on the type of session and season. My goal turnaround time for each session is 3 weeks.
Printing rights give the client (you) legal rights to print a photograph. Many photographers do not give printing rights, making it illegal to have prints made of any images taken during a session. (Note: Even if you are in the images, the copyright is still owned by the photographer.) I provide a print release with each package, because I want to encourage my clients to print their images and enjoy them outside of the digital space.
WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH A PRINT RELEASE
> Unlimited printing of your pictures (quantity & sizes)
> Posting of files on your social media (please credit me
as the photographer when posting)
> May use digital files on your Christmas card
> Digital file to keep forever
WHAT YOU CAN'T DO WITH A PRINT RELEASE
> Violate copyright laws, which include editing and cropping images (Instagram filters count as editing and are not permitted)
> Enter images into contests to win monetary or non-monetary prizes
> Sell the images for commercial use, or any other means of making money with the images
Each session and wedding package comes with minor retouching—nervous pimples that pop up before the wedding day, minor clutter in the background, etc. Typically, I leave the wrinkles. I take a natural approach to photography and think that those beautiful wrinkles are part of what make you special. (: Where more extensive retouching is requested, there will be an additional fee.
