I hesitate every time I book a wedding in August. I don’t do very many August weddings because the summer heat is INTENSE in famously hot Columbia, South Carolina.

What a TREAT to have Josh + Laura’s wedding day come and the weather was BEAUTIFUL. There was an amazing cool breeze allllll day, and the threat of a summer storm kept the sun hidden behind the white clouds. It didn’t rain, and it was cool. It was perfection.

And it got better. I showed up to Rock Bottom Pond for the first time and was surprised—I couldn’t believe how serene it was. I felt like I was in the mountains all day. Throw in stunning flowers from American Floral, and a couple so cute, excited, and ready to be married—and y’all. What a magical day.
