He was a football player, and she was a cheerleader. Since high school, these two have been spending date nights at the movies or out on the lake, stealing each other’s cheesecake, and loving every second they spend together. Phillip proposed in his parent’s backyard with both of their families surrounding them, and the rest is history. They’re planning for forever together, and the first stop is a wedding (after all the planning + engagement photos, of course).

We originally planned to have their engagement session at the Citadel where Phillip attended college and things got all messed up because of the weather. Our original date got rained out, but it made their actual engagement session turn out 1,000 times better. We changed the location to the gorgeous Riverwalk by the Columbia canal, and we opted for a morning session. The sunrise was a beautiful pink tint, which made the colors of their photos turn out so soft and beautiful.

Sevanna + Phillip are getting married this coming December and I can’t WAIT. I had so much fun during their engagement session, and I know their wedding is going to be just as sweet.
