I met Ashley at a bridal show, and I’m not sure if this is what actually sold her on booking me or not, but it’s definitely the reason she decided to consider me in the first place as her wedding photographer….my love for dogs! On the second page of my handout at the bridal show was a full-page image of my two dogs! She loves dogs too (as you’ll see!), and she loved that I was totally ok (and excited) about her including her pups in her engagement session + wedding.

It started out as a beautiful day at the Farm at Ridgeway. The temperature was great, and the rain held off until right after the ceremony. Even when it did rain though, it wasn’t for very long, and we got a beautiful rainbow out of it! It was probably one of the most beautiful rainbows I’ve ever seen. We were able to finish out their portraits at sunset, with no rain, and then Ashley + Scott enjoyed the rest of the evening with all of their family and friends. My favorite part of the reception was the awesome first dance that Ashley choreographed herself! They both have some seriously sweet dance moves, and I got a bunch of great images of them dancing! (A few of them are included below.)
