Friends!!! We have been waiting so, so long for this (literally over a year!). I won’t bore you with all the details, but we just found out my husband’s job is moving us to Georgia!! We are sad to be leaving our beloved home state, but we’re excited for this opportunity that God has given us. We aren’t 100% sure if we’re going to be moving to the Atlanta area or the Savannah area yet, but we’ll keep you updated!
Tyler will report to his new office in August, and if everything goes smoothly with selling our home and finding another one in Georgia, we’ll be moved in by the end of August. (Keep us in your prayers for this process. We have two, yes only two, months to sell our home and find another, and we are praying that God is working it all out for us.) (Want to help us sell our home? Click here to share the Facebook post!)
While I hope to plant roots for this business in Georgia, I’ll still be traveling back to Columbia for weddings and to see our family often. I’ll still be serving the Columbia area for as long as you guys want me! There may be a small travel fee for weddings and sessions booked after the move, unless we are able to schedule them for a day when I’ll already be back in town for something else.
I can’t even put into words how much I will miss our home, our community, our church, our family and friends, and every single person who has supported us and/or this business. This move won’t happen without tears, but we know that God is preparing the way and already sees the whole picture.
Take a look at all of the goodies below (including two giveaways you’ll want to jump in on), and then hop over here and follow me on Instagram. It’s my favorite way to keep in touch with everyone.
Thank you so much for all of your support! We can’t wait to see what’s next!! (Don’t forget to comment below and be entered to win $50!)

So incredibly proud of you guys! Best of luck on your move to the Peach State, and we can’t wait to come visit!
Eeek! We’re so excited! DEFINITELY COME VISIT US! And let’s go camping somewhere in the middle of us too!! <3
Congrats on your big move! We did something similar back when my ex & I got out of the Marine Corps. We had 1 day to find a house and put a contract down. No selling, but it was super stressful.
Where in GA did you end up? Atlanta is beautiful, we lived south of Atlanta in a suburb called Newnan. We worked in Peacthree City, which is a town as adorable as its name makes it seem!
Wishing you lots of luck!!

Hi Lori! We aren’t sure if we’ll be in Atlanta or Savannah yet. We’ll see! It’s definitely going to be stressful looking for somewhere to live. Thanks so much for stopping by the site and saying hello!! <3
So very happy for you and Tyler! I think the Lord definitely has big plans for the both of you in Georgia! I go to a school in Georgia, and my advice to you is make sure you book a session under the pecan trees, you definitely will not regret it!
Ooo, I will do that for sure! Thank you for the tip! Thank you for checking out the new site! Your advice and support is so appreciated!
Good luck!!!
Thank you, girl!!

Yay! Congrats!! That’s so insanely exciting and so crazy that we’re moving too! It’s just to a different city not a totally different state, but it’s still so exciting :p We’ve been living amongst boxes and can’t wait til the big move on Saturday. So excited for you guys! A big congrats to Tyler too for landing his dream job!
Oh yay!! Congratulations to you too! How fun! I can only imagine all the boxes, especially with your business! Good luck to you guys, also. Definitely keep in touch!!

Thank you so much!! I appreciate the well-wishes and you checking out the site!
Even though we’ve only been communicating through email and have not met yet, I’m excited for you. So happy I booked you before you left . The advice that I have for moving is unpack/decorate one room at a time. It makes it easy focusing on one color scheme/theme rather 3 or 4. Happy house hunting and hope the right one comes along just in time!
Thank you so much! Yes, that’s good advice! I’m so excited to finally meet you, and thank you so much for the well wishes! You’ll be seeing a lot of me for a while, so you won’t have to miss me too much yet! Haha!
So excited for y’all, but sad you’re leaving Columbia!! LOOOVE the new website!!!
I’m sad too, but happy it’s not even further away. Thank you so much!! I’ll miss getting to work with you!
Nice website 🙂 I hope you get Savannah ! GA isn’t bad & still close to home !!
Yes! We’re hoping for Savannah too! We’re sad to be leaving, but glad it’s not too far away. Thank you for checking out the new site!
Hey Karly! The new website is gorgeous! You’re an amazing business woman, I’m so happy for you and Tyler, a little sad at the same time, but I know God has great things in store for y’all! My advice on moving is when moving clothes, keep them in the hanger, hung up in the closet and slip a trash bag over the clothes and tie it around the hangers. Then when they get where they are going all you have to do is hang them and remove the bag. My next moving tip, is to pack a “first night bag/box” that way you don’t have to be stressed about finding important items!
This is such good advice!! Thank you so, so much! I appreciate your sweet words and tips so much!
Best of luck on your new adventure!
Thank you so much!
Welcome to Georgia! It can be both very similar and VERY different from South Carolina. We’re in Brunswick (an hour South of Sav and an hour North of Jacksonville) so feel free to give us a call if you need anything! Good luck packing, selling the house, and trying to find a new one. I know it’s a huge pain, so I’ll
be praying for your sanity.
Jekyll Island has a TON of naturally untouched wooded and beach areas. It’s practically all a nature preserve and very undeveloped. Driftwood Beach on Jekyll is probably the best place around here for photos, and very popular.
OH! Also, email pricing options for booking a session with you if you come to the Savannah area since we’re right here and it’s been over 3 years (our wedding) since we had professional photos done. And our dog Jake isn’t in any family photos, so we need to fix that.
Thank you for the tips!! I will DEFINITELY reach out when we figure out where exactly we’re headed, and definitely when we get there! How neat that we’ll be closer to each other!! <3
I’m so happy for you two because I know how long this process has been for y’all! BUT I’m so sad because I’ll miss my best friend! love you & I know the best is yet to come!!
I’ll miss you too. ): So much! Living just down the road from you has been the absolute best. I love you so much, friend!
God bless you and your family! Hope for safe travels, moving homes & new life in GA.
P.S. Love Your new website!
Thank you SO much!
Sad you’re leaving, but excited for this new adventure for y’all! Love you!
Same. I will miss you, Tzedi!!! But let’s be real, I’ll be back plenty. And will probably see you often if you’re still working in the salon. Haha. Love you, girl!!
I am so very excited for you and Tyler! Sending you tons of love and best wishes on your new adventure! Everything will work out and all of the pieces will fall into place just as they are meant to be! <3
We JUST purchased our first house on Thursday and moved in on Saturday. We were also on a very short timeline. We started looking for houses in May, found our dream home mid-May, and knew we needed to be out of our rental situation by mid-June. Moving can certainly be very stressful. I think what really helped us was knowing that we had each other to rely on. We packed together and took lots of breaks to go on little dates here and there. We also purchased some of the wine that we served at our wedding, and planned to share a glass on our first night together in our new place. Making these little plans helped to make the experience a lot more fun! We also thoroughly enjoyed unpacking together to create our new home.
So I guess my tip is to never stop planning, dreaming, and having fun together. You are the absolute most adorable couple. I am SO happy for you and for Tyler, and I cannot wait to see more of your endeavors!
I am planning to meet up with some merfriends in Georgia next year. Wherever you end up I will definitely have to stop by and say hello!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO!! I will keep you updated on where they put us!! I love this advice so much. <3 Thank you for all of your sweet words and constant encouragement. I am always praying for you guys, and am glad to hear everything worked out with you guys moving. Keep in touch, Ayesha!! I love you!
Good Luck on the move!!! We know God has a plan for y’all!!! I have a cousin by marriage in Georgia so I’ll be sure to let her know all about you! Love the website and enjoy getting your emails!
Safe travels back and forth and will be praying for y’all and with selling the house!
Thank you so much!! I appreciate all the well wishes, and your sweet words of encouragement! <3 And thank you so, so much for the prayers!
