ChristmasCardPost

Hello

This is my first official blog post since the launch of my new site! It took me so long to get this thing up and running, and while it will never be exactly perfect, I am loving the look! I invite you to take a look around and let me know what you think. I’ve back posted some of my favorite sessions on the blog, and will be working on adding more of my older sessions as time permits. So go check those out here.Ā Feel free to leave comments on the ones you love! I will constantly be working and adding new things to this site. Freebies, client education, beautiful images, new projects…the list goes on! So connect with me on social media and come back often.

For those who don’t know me, hello! I’m your typical 20-year-old, follow-your-dreams, do-all-the-things type girl! I graduatedĀ college with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communication and work full time as a social media marketing coordinator. (Yes, that means I am on Facebook and social media ALL the timeā€”no that doesn’t mean it’s easy! I manage 40+ pages for 13 brands with the company I work for. That is a LOT of posts.) Photography has always been part of who I am. When I was younger, every single holiday I was asking for a new digital camera. I went through so many of those little babies! My favorite was a pink rectangle camera that had the most saturated screen everā€”it was GOLD. I have a ton of experience and training in photography and Photoshop, and tend to take a natural approach to my sessions. I’m drawn to the natural beauty of things…but who isn’t? I’m married to my high school sweetheart (swoon) and have a beautiful border collie puppy named Piper (swooning again).

I didn’t sit down to write this blog post about me, so I’ll stop here for now. I may dedicate another blog post to digging deeper into who I am for those that don’t know me very well.

The Mini Sessions

I have been in business for over a year a half now and have never done mini sessions! I prefer longer sessions so I can really put time into the images, and because I absolutely LOVE getting to know my clients and making new friends. Sometimes though, I know it’s hard to get husbands and kids to commit to full-length sessions. That’s why I’m doing the mini sessions. It’s the perfect opportunity to get new pictures of your family that you can display in your home, share online, and even send out on your Christmas cards! I will be providing hi-res digital files for these sessions, and I always give a print release with images. I would LOVE for you to get your images printed through me, but if you want to print them on your own, I’m ok with that too! Because no matter what, I want you to print your images. They deserve to live outside of Facebook and off the screens. I want you to hang them on your walls, display them on your coffee tables and dressers, and send them to your friends. The mini sessions are taking place at a beautiful Christmas Tree Farm, and I am over the top excited!

Custom-Designed Christmas Cards

Along with the mini sessions, I have decided to include Christmas cards! I LOVE to design cards and know what a hassle it can be trying to pick out and design your own online. There are so many services that allow you to do it on your own, but I would love to provide you with really great Christmas cards that are unique to just YOU and YOUR family! The image at the top of this post shows some examples of Christmas cards I designed last year for clients. With the upcoming mini sessions, you get your choice of 25 folded cards or 50 flat cards. Either set will come with envelopes. The best part? We can use different images from your session on different cards for no extra cost!

Spots are limited for the mini sessions, and there are currently only 3 left. To learn more about the mini sessions and to register, click here.

Feel free to leave comments below if you have questions or to just let me know what you think about my new website!

My passion is in documenting the lives of our families well (mine and yours), and teaching you how to do it too. Follow along as I share photography tips, inspiration, and beautiful portraits.
