The Meredith + Karly duo strike again. (We’re going to have to come up with a name or a hashtag or something.) For those who don’t know—my friend Meredith of Meredith Jamison Photography is my bestie and we love doing sessions together. I think this is our 4th one this year? Most of the time we grab a couple (sometimes a florist), and go out and shoot for fun! We love it because it helps us stay creative, and not get burnt out when we can just go photograph people without any pressure.

Meredith found Laken + Josh, who graciously decided to be our models for the evening, and it turns out…I’ve worked with them before! They’re a videographer duo in town, and we did Cheyenne + Liam’s wedding together back in October.

The main thing Meredith wanted to work on during this session was posing, and I really wanted to work on getting/capturing authentic emotions. We took turns posing and photographing them, and it was so fun! I also got a little daring with my shooting technique (the majority of these were taken at 1.4 for any photographers reading along), and I’m actually so excited with how they turned out!
