Last October I second shot a wedding with my friend Meredith at Jackson’s Landing, and since then…I have been SO EXCITED about this wedding. This new venue in Batesburg-Leesville is so underrated. The beautiful huge white barn sits on the most gorgeous land. It is the perfect place for a sweet southern wedding, and when Nichole told me she was getting married there, I knew it was going to be perfect. (The venue isn’t too far from Columbia, SC either, considering how beautiful the land is!)

I can usually tell during the engagement session if a couple’s wedding day is going to be hectic or not. Nichole + Russell‘s was so sweet and so laid-back, and their wedding day was exactly the same. It was one of the smoothest I’ve ever been part of. I never felt rushed, Nichole + Russell were excited, but calm, and the events of the day unfolded with so much ease and so much love—which isn’t something anyone usually says when there are split locations on a wedding day. Every second was perfect though, and there weren’t any hiccups (at least from my point of view).

I’m so excited that these two are officially married, but I’m also sad to have their wedding behind me. I loved every second of planning and hanging out with Nichole +Russell, and am going to really miss them! Enjoy my favorites from their wedding day!
