Sesquicentennial State Park is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to do engagement sessions (and even family sessions!). There are so many neat areas to explore…and even though I’ve been there so many times, there’s still so many spots I haven’t explored yet.
This session was fun because I got to do two new things I’ve never done there: 1. have a couple get in the water and 2. shoot in that tall forest of trees!
Devyn and Rick were so sweet and so joyful. I had the best time catching up with them and hearing about their summer. They had the sweetest smiles and were totally up for anything. I love a couple that is open to different ideas and is so natural in front of the camera!
You’ll be seeing a lot more from these two. I’ll be doing Devyn’s bridal pictures + their wedding next year! Enjoy my favorites from their engagement session. (:
My passion is in documenting the lives of our families well (mine and yours), and teaching you how to do it too. Follow along as I share photography tips, inspiration, and beautiful portraits.
