I have been DYING to have a Riverbanks Zoo and Gardens wedding or shoot, so when Jessica suggested we do her bridal session there I was SO. EXCITED. When the day finally came, it was POURING. There was a huge storm that afternoon, but with a promise by our weather apps that it would go away by the time our shoot started, and the fact that we had already rented the gardens, we pushed on!! Haha. (: Jessica and I must have called each other 3 or 4 times on the way to the Zoo to discuss if we should still do the session. Every time we talked, we decided “ok, let’s just go and see how it is.” I had my umbrella ready and was determined to make it work. It was pouring so hard on my way there that I couldn’t even see the road. And then…sunshine. It stopped raining right when I got there and the sun actually came out!! We were elated! Her session turned out just as I hoped it would…absolutely beautiful!
