Eeek!! This wedding was the PERFECT date for beautiful fall colors, and I’ve been dying to share the images! We had some extremely beautiful foliage this year, and it seemed to last much longer than in previous years. This wedding hit the peak time for it though, and I just LOVE how these images turned out!

Bailey + Taylor are one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever gotten to work with. I cried so many times throughout their wedding. Bailey is so kind and laidback, and Taylor was the perfect gentleman all day. We did their first look under the beautiful fall leaves, they cried, I cried…it was just beautiful!

Probably one of my favorite parts about the whole day was listening to their ceremony. The preacher read through one of the most famous chapters in the bible, especially for weddings: 1 Corinthians 13. After the pastor read it though, she noted that as-is, it can feel a little impersonal. Or like it’s a scripture full of big concepts and ideas—love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy….but she said she read an article once where it encouraged people to plug in their own names into this bible verse—Bailey is patient, Taylor is kind. Bailey does not envy; Taylor does not boast. Bailey and Taylor are not proud and they do not dishonor others. Bailey is not self-seeking, Taylor is not easily angered, and they don’t keep a record of wrongs. Bailey and Taylor do not delight in evil, but they rejoice with the truth. They always protect, always trust, always hope, always persevere.

Isn’t that so much more profound to think of it that way? I think it’s just so beautiful.

I’m so grateful for these two, and just feel so blessed that I got to share so many sweet memories with them.

Bailey + Taylor, I wish you guys the absolute BEST, and I’ll be here cheering you guys on as you take on life together. <3
