This session is proof that being a Charleston South Carolina Wedding Photographer is a beautiful thing. There’s just something about the sunlight coming through the Spanish moss that is absolutely breathtaking. The southern charm of the low-country is just beautiful!

We originally scheduled Bailey + Taylor’s engagement session for a different day, at a completely different location. It was a beautiful day, and I had even done a session earlier that morning, but when I walked outside to get in my car and head to meet Bailey + Taylor, it started raining. It wasn’t raining really hard (I didn’t even think it was calling for rain that day), but I called Bailey and asked her if she wanted to try to do the session or if she’d rather reschedule. As bummed as I was we had to reschedule (I was really looking forward to it!), I am SO GLAD we did! Bailey + Taylor live in Charleston, and we decided to do their session somewhere local to them instead of Columbia.

When Bailey suggested Magnolia Plantation, I was ECSTATIC!! I’ve been wanting to photograph a wedding or session here for the longest, and was so excited when she booked it! It was even more beautiful than I imagined, and we had the most PERFECT WEATHER!
