I’ve spent 5 of my summers volunteering at a camp for kid’s who have cancer, and every year so far I’ve been able to volunteer with the same age group of girls. Each age group (cabin) gets multiple counselors, and all five of my summers as a volunteer I’ve gotten to spend working with Marykate! She is one of the sweetest people I know, and she is so good with the kids. She’s so fun, and so kind, and so laid back—the ultimate girl next door! This past summer at camp, I got to tell her all of my wedding-planning advice and secrets, and multiple times during camp, people asked her when the heck she was getting engaged. Well, little did we know, shortly after camp it would be happening! Jordan popped the question one evening while they took a ride on the boat, and I was SO EXCITED when I found out! EEEEK!!!
I travelled to Charlotte, NC for their engagement session. We started at their beautiful home, and then went out to the lake for some photos! It was an absolutely beautiful day, and Jordan + MK were so sweet together. <3 I cannot WAIT for their wedding.
Enjoy my favorites from their engagement session!
