One of my favorite, favorite things to photograph is a new mother, and new parents. There is something so cool about watching a new family together—watching a little baby figure out what’s going on, and watching parents learn about their baby (and themselves) in everything they do. Allison reached out to me over the summer to do 6-month pictures for her sweet Nolan, and I just LOVED their little family. (Check out that session here.)

I was ecstatic when Allison signed up for my Christmas Card Mini Sessions, because I knew Nolan would be bigger, and I knew they would know so much more about him and being his parents! And friends…HE IS SO CUTE!! He is such a handsome little guy and has the most beautiful blue eyes ever! It was so cool watching them interact with him this time around, and the things they knew to do to get him to smile. Being a parent must be the coolest thing ever. <3
